Having a new baby can feel stressful and we all want to know that our child is growing and thriving. It is also really common to have niggling, newborn worries. Especially as first time parents. In this package, your baby will be seen by a Consultant paedatrician for 4 x face to face appointments to give you the reassurance you need. Included in the package are the following appointments:

It’s common for health concerns about your child to crop up in the year. This package covers you for up to 4 x face to face appointments throughout the year to give you the reassurance you need, when you need.

Sub-lingual immunotherapy (SLIT)
For the treatment of grass pollen and house dust mite allergies
Bristol Paedatric Clinic is proud to offer a sub-lingual immunotherapy (SLIT) service. Unlike standard allergy medications that only mask symptoms, Grazax (Grass Pollen) and Acarizax (House Dust Mite) work by retraining your immune system.
The standard length of treatment for SLIT is 3 years of once daily treatment. Good compliance is vital to ensure maximum effectiveness so it is important to consider whether you and your child can commit to the entire course of treatment before starting. After 1 year of treatment, we will review your child’s response and decide whether to continue treatment for another 2 years. The full 3 year programme includes:
Initial appointment and skin prick testing
First dose appointment
3-monthly 15-minute virtual check-ins
Yearly 30-minute review appointments (face to face or virtual)
Email support service
SLIT medication costs (cost separate)
Cost - £976 per year for 3 years (total cost £2928 - *can be paid as £80 per month).
